Man dies after stabbing at music event in south London

A 26-year-old man has died after being stabbed at a music event in an industrial unit in south Bermondsey.

Police said they were called at 11.50pm on Saturday to Stockholm Road, next to Millwall Football Club, where an “unlicensed music event had been taking place”.

Officers attended along with London Ambulance Service and found a man suffering stab injuries. Despite the efforts of emergency services he was pronounced dead at the scene.

He has yet to be identified.

A 16-year-old boy was also found at the location suffering head injuries. He was taken to hospital for treatment. His condition is not believed to be life-threatening.

He has been arrested in connection with the incident.

Anyone who had been in attendance at the event is urged to call 101, and quote ref CAD 8848/26JUN.
