A car parking spot that can house two cars in Oxford Street is up for sale for £750,000 — three times the national house price average.

The 28.15sqm spot is located near the capital's popular Oxford Street in Portman Square, Mayfair.

The double garage, advertised on Manor, has steel shutter to protect the vehicles from thieves and is based within a residential building boasting a 24-hour porter service.

It is located on the east side of Portman Square, seconds from the “world renowned Selfridges store and Oxford Street,” the advert said.

It added that the offer for the space is “in excess of £750,000.”

But a mortgage on the garage with a ten per cent deposit paid would cost £3,200 a month.

Buyers could purchase a five-bedroom family home at Heaton Mersey near Manchester for the exact same price, reported the Sun.
