Luxury London jewellers Graff Diamonds will today unveil a £33million watch that is thought to be the most valuable ever to have been made.

The spectacular 110 carat Graff Hallucination ladies accessory is the latest in the company's catalogue of bling, and will be shown off for the first time on the opening day of the Baselworld watch and jewellery fair.

It is covered in a kaleidoscopic coating of rare candy-coloured diamonds, with the watch-face and ease of telling the time apparently relegated to a distant second place behind opulence and luxury.

Graff Diamonds' chairman, Laurence Graff, said a team of his designers and gem experts worked for thousands of hours to "make my dream a reality".

"The Graff Hallucination is a sculptural masterpiece; a celebration of the miracle of colored diamonds," he said.

"For many years I have thought about creating a truly remarkable watch that illustrates our all consuming passion for diamonds. The Hallucination has made my diamond dream a reality."

Graff Diamonds was established by Laurence Graff in London in 1960, and has since opened stores around the world including in Asia and the Middle East.
