Chocolate fans counting down to Christmas have expressed their anger after opening their Celebrations’ advent calendar to find a Bounty, Snickers and Mars for the first three days.

The festive favourites advent calendar has come under fire from Twitter users over which chocolates come first.

One chocolate lover was so appalled at having a Bounty as the first treat, she claimed Christmas was "cancelled."

Day Two contained a Snickers, while Day Three is a Mars and customers were still unhappy and complained that they wanted the more popular chocolates like Malteaser and Twix to come first.

One critic wrote: “What kind of monster puts a Bounty behind the first door in an advent calendar. Christmas is cancelled”.

Another said: "I cannot believe my advent calendar this year. Bounty on Day One, Snickers on Day Two and Mars bar on Day Three. Celebrations is just out to ruin my festivity, if I don't get Malteaser tomorrow, I'll be f****** furious."

Another wrote: “Thought my Celebrations’ advent calendar was bad enough when I got a Bounty, but no, today’s was a bloody Snickers. Christmas is cancelled this year.”

And another outraged Celebrations fan said: “Christmas is ruined, opened my advent calendar and it’s a f****** Bounty. WHO EVEN LIKES BOUNTYS.”

One Twitter user was so angered at finding a Bounty, they even flushed it down the toilet.

Although prompting anger from some, one user failed to see what the fuss was about.

Bez Newman wrote: "Everyone complaining about getting a Bounty behind door number one on their advent calendar, well feel free to send them my way #Celebrations #AdventCalendar #FirstWorldProblems."

Others questioned why customers were complaining about the contents of an advent calendar that they knew would contain a range of different Celebrations chocolates.

One wrote: "Imagine buying a Celebrations advent calendar and being upset when you get a bounty. What did you expect?"

Another said: "Seriously people! Buy a f****** Malteaser advent calendar if you're going to whinge this much."

Bounty, first made by confectionary giant, Mars, was first launched in 1951.
