EastEnders star Jessie Wallace cancelled her wedding just hours before she was due to tie the knot after a huge row with her fiance, according to reports.

Wallace, the BBC1 soap's Kat Moon, called off the nuptials while some of the guests were already en route to the plush venue in Richmond, south-west London.

She ended it with catering boss Vince Morse, 50, after he admitted sending an explicit picture of the actress, 39, to his ex-girlfriend in the past two weeks, The Sun said.

The newspaper said that Morse also told his ex that he had doubts about his planned marriage to the soap star.

After Wallace confronted her fiance on Sunday morning about the picture, hotel guests heard her screaming and wailing on the eve of her planned wedding.

One was quoted as saying: "I've never heard anything like it. She was wailing in grief then growling in rage.

"She kept screaming, 'How could he humiliate me like this? How could he do it?' ... She was a woman in pieces."

The guest added: "EastEnders couldn't have written a better script."

The wedding, with 350 guests and a magazine deal, was due to take place at Pembroke Lodge in Richmond.

Staff packed away £18,000 worth of champagne and took away £3,500 worth of flowers, while a singing Elvis Presley was also cancelled.
