In our article “£6m cost of Ramsay’s feud with father-in-law sends him into the red” (June 1), we reported that Gordon Ramsay’s father-in-law and former business partner, Mr Christopher Hutcheson, had used company funds for certain private purposes.

We would like to make clear that any suggestion he acted improperly was an allegation raised by his son-in-law, which has at all times been strongly denied by Mr Hutcheson. We regret that the position was not set out in full.
