Toblerone’s first ice cream has been released in the UK sparking excitement among chocolate fans.
Mondelez International, the company behind Toblerone, has reportedly launched the snack across the UK and Europe.
The triangular treat is expected to become more widely available over the summer.
Multi-packs of the cooling delight are also listed as available from Tesco and Asda on delivery website MySupermarket.
Excited fans shared their delight as they battled to get their hands on the lolly.
One person tweeted: “Toblerone have just released an ice cream! This is not a drill, people.”
Another said: “I need this now.”
Julie McLean described the announcement as “the most exciting news I’ve heard all day”.
One person said: “Toblerone has ice cream now!!!!!!!! SIGN ME UP!”
Some keen fans suggested they had already sampled the new ice cream.
Lulu Brown wrote on Twitter: “We had these in France last summer, they were exceptionally good. Thank goodness they only ran on a promotion; too much of a good thing... and all that!!”
