Alesha Dixon has said having children has “brought back the magic” of Christmas.
The 42-year-old singer and dancer, who is also a judge on Britain’s Got Talent, has two children Azura, seven, and Anaya, one. She lives with her children and her husband, dancer Azuka Onoye.
The star said having children had reignited her love of Christmas.
Dixon also said she “cannot wait” to “do absolutely nothing” this festive period with her family.
Speaking exclusively to the Standard following her recent involvement with Coca-Cola's Christmas campaign said: “There is just so much joy with Christmas.
"What I love about Christmas is that it is like Groundhog Day - I love the same things, the same traditions every year.
" We have the same schedule - breakfast, presents, the Queen’s Speech.... pulling crackers, eating too much. I think it is the one time of the year when everyone really switches off - everyone is on holiday.
"You're not on your phone all the time, always replying to emails. I cannot wait to do nothing."
She added: "I think having children makes it different - Christmas when you are a child is just so joyous. I used to look forward to Christmas but now I have kids - it's brought the magic back.”
Dixon appears in the Coca-Cola's Christmas At Home With...series, which will be broadcast on IGTV on @cocacolaeu from 14 December at 3pm.
