Northern and Jubilee line services suffered disruption today.

The Northern was suspended between Golders Green and Edgware due to a power failure at Colindale; Jubilee line services susffered severe delays due to a signal failure at Stanmore.

Jubilee line services were suspended for a short time between Canons Park and Stanmore.

The lines are two of the three routes at the centre of the RMT engineers strike.

Both fully reopened in time for the morning peak but delays continued.

Northern line services suffered severe delays last night due to signal failure at Edgware.

A 24-hour strike by engineers working for Tube Lines, the Transport for London (TfL) subsidiary responsible for upkeep of the Jubilee, Northern and Piccadilly lines, ended at 6 am this morning. A work to rule continues until 6 am Monday morning.

The dispute is over pensions and working conditions.

Bob Crow, the RMT leader, said the disruptions "make a nonsense of the ludicrous claim from TfL that the strike action would have no impact."
