This car was left teetering dangerously over a motorway last night in a crash which miraculously saw the vehicle's two occupants walk away unscathed.

The driver and one passenger were unhurt after the crash shortly after midnight last night.

The car was left teetering over the edge of an overpass when it went out of control and hit a barrier at junction five of the M25 in Kent.

It was in danger of falling onto the M26 below.

The driver and passenger, both male, escaped with only cuts and bruises.

The M25 was closed clockwise at the scene for emergency barrier repairs.

Kent Police's roads policing unit posted photographs of the incident on Twitter with a warning that read: "Please remember this as the danger of driving on a wet road."
