iPhone users are often frustrated their home screens are cluttered by pre-installed Apple apps that cannot be deleted.

But one YouTube video maker has shown how an easy trick can make the unwanted icons disappear without the app being completely deleted from the phone.

The short 49-second clip shows a man dragging three Apple apps into a folder which he renames ‘Disappear’.

While the icons are still ‘shaking’, a feature which occurs when iPhone users choose to rearrange their apps and folders, the man moves one icon to the second page of the folder.

The man then drags the application to the centre of third page of the folder and while holding his finger on the icon, presses the home button.

The icon flies off to the top left hand corner of the screen before disappearing.

The video maker repeats the process twice more for other apps before returning to the home screen.

While the apps have disappeared from the home screen and sub-folder, they are hidden from view.

The video maker explains while the apps no longer appear, they have not been deleted from the phone and will reappear once the iPhone is turned off and restarted.
