Family Guy writer Gary Janetti’s Instagram has taken a life of its own, transforming into a royal parody account told through the eyes of a sassy Prince George .

With celebrity followers including Sarah Michelle Gellar, Billy Eichner, Mandy Moore, Sophie Turner and more, it’s perhaps no surprise that Janetti has managed to score a TV deal off the back of it - so animated Prince George will soon be coming to a screen near you.

The show will be called The Prince and Janetti is set to voice Prince George alongside an impressive cast of voice actors including Orlando Bloom and Game of Thrones’ Iwan Rheon.

Billions actress Condola Rashad will be playing Meghan Markle on the show. Previously, she’s starred in shows such as Smash and coincidentally played a character called Meghan in Sex and the City 2.

In the past, Janetti's take on Prince George could be quite cutting about the Duchess - however in recent months, the character has softened towards her.

Janetti said Meghan was "super appealing" and added, "I do know it feels like [the Sussexes are] having a rough go of it - I think that’s the gist. The way I see it, in my world, she is family, they are family, and George rallies around family."

"Now he sees that people and the press have piled on her, he doesn’t like it, and he’s rallying around the family," he said. "As of now, Meghan — he wants to take her under his wing. Now we’re seeing George might secretly like her. You know, he does not like to kick somebody when they’re down."
