Commons speaker John Bercow and his wife Sally have reportedly moved back in with each other after she had an affair with his cousin.

The couple are said to be living together again after repairing their relationship during a family holiday.

Mr Bercow, 52, had reportedly been set to divorce his 45-year-old wife after details of the affair were revealed in May.

But a friend of the couple told The Sun on Sunday: “She’s moved back in with John at the Palace of Westminster and they seem to be making a go of it.

“I’ve never seen John so happy and relaxed and Sally seems radiant with happiness.

“They’re like a pair of newlyweds all over again. It’s marvellous for both of them — not to mention their three kids.”

The pair have been married for 13 years after meeting at a Conservative student conference in 1989.

But Mrs Bercow publicly distanced herself from her Tory husband’s politics and is a well-known Labour activist.
