Two ministers sacked by Nick Clegg in the recent reshuffle are given star billing in the party’s conference handbook.

The directory was printed before David Cameron and his deputy Mr Clegg wielded the axe to shake up their ministerial teams this month.

So Sarah Teather is pictured on page four alongside the Liberal Democrat leader with a child reading a book — to promote the pupil premium championed by the party.

The Brent Central MP was an education minister.

Former health minister Paul Burstow, MP for Sutton and Cheam, is shown on page five visiting a hospital with Mr Clegg.

A party spokeswoman said: “The conference agendas went to print during the summer, before the reshuffle had taken place. There was not enough time to issue a reprint before the beginning of conference this weekend.”
