This is the moment a ukulele player ambushed David Cameron on the campaign trail, telling him repeatedly to "f*** off back to Eton" as he spoke to voters.

The protester serenaded the Prime Minister in Alnwick, Northumberland, today as the Tory campaign group walked through the town centre.

Footage shows an aide apparently having stern words with the unconcerned busker but no further action was taken.

Another voter criticised campaigners who claim Mr Cameron will "change" the zero-hours contracts that are leaving her granddaughter out of pocket.

"He'll never change it," she said. "He only wants changes for financial services, bankers and those that are in money. That's all."

The Prime Minister was also pictured refusing food from a local restaurateur, saying he had been criticised for eating too much on the campaign trail. "I've had scones and haggis," he said.

It comes as Ukip leader Nigel Farage was filmed being roundly ignored by a factory worker while on the campaign trail in Essex.

It later emerged the man did not speak very good English.
