Will Mr Corden's cords fail him tonight?

Just in case host James Corden can’t make tonight’s Brit Awards, should his vocal cords fail him (he has tonsillitis), the organisers of the annual music love-in have teed up Radio 2 breakfast jock Chris Evans as a stand-in.

This morning Evans joked on his radio show that if his next guest, Corden, was encouraged to talk too much then it would mean he could host tonight’s awards ceremony. Thus making sure Evans will have hosted the ceremony five times to Corden’s current tally of three.
