What's with the warm-white-wine do, Pippa Middleton?

22 October 2012

With a £400,000 advance for her party-planning book Celebrate, you might have thought the least Pippa Middleton could do was throw a bash to show off her glitter-encrusted vegetable table decorations and party toad-in-the hole recipe. How sad then that Middleton’s launch looks like being a warm white wine affair at Daunt Books in Fulham Road.

The party this Thursday is for friends and her publishers with no journalists let near the canapés, if there are any. It is thought neither her sister, the Duchess of Cambridge, nor her brother-in-law Prince William will attend.

On another note Pippa is obviously now taking herself seriously. She has engaged lawyer Gerrard Tyrrell to act for her business ventures. Tyrrell is lawyer at Harbottle and Lewis, and has advised other members of the Royal Family, including William and Kate.
