Tories boogied at the Brits - who knew?

John Whittingdale, Culture Select Committee chairman, and fellow Tory MP Therese Coffey boogied into the early hours at Universal Music’s Brit Awards after-party in the City.

Coffey enjoyed a rock double-header after attending Muse’s War Child charity gig at Shepherd’s Bush Empire on Monday. “I wanted them to play more of their early material,” the MP said.

The parliamentarians took their leave before James Corden and Taylor Swift took over the DJ booth in the early hours. Sadly Harriet Harman, who cut a rug after enjoying the bubbly at last year’s Brits, had to cry off at the last minute due to illness.
