Tom Daley and Dustin Lance Black dive in to property

Fresh from his Commonwealth Games glory, it looks like diver Tom Daley and his boyfriend, screenwriter Dustin Lance Black, look set to dive into the London property market. The couple, who currently share a two-bedroom rented flat in Stratford near the Olympic Park, have been house-hunting south of the river, a friend tells me. His agent has yet to confirm the move but even the rumour may create a splash and send houses prices in Stratford plunging.

With young Tom in training for 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro and Dustin signed on to write Star Trek director JJ Abrams’s next disaster movie, Earthquake, the couple may not have synchronised careers but at least London is a good springboard for both.
