Jack Guinness is all in knots

Champagne flowed as London’s brightest acting talent crowded into the Savoy last night for the EE and Esquire pre-Bafta party.

Lily Allen and Richard E Grant joined dashing actors such as Submarine star Craig Roberts. Also there was bearded scenester model Jack Guinness who arrived in an elaborate two-tone bow-tie. “I’ve got no idea how to tie the bloody thing,” said the much-photographed Jack. “I had to go to my tailor’s, get him to do it and then run home and put my shirt and suit on around it.”

Guinness's tailor is Joshua Kane, and while he is happy to oblige, The Londoner suggested enlisting a neighbour. “I live in Hackney. No one knows how to tie a bow-tie in Hackney,” he said.
