No rest for Channel 4 News presenter Jon Snow, who has been on election duty in the US. He is rushing back to London to get ready for the London Jazz Festival this Friday, where he will duet with Mara Carlyle at the Southbank Centre.

The dynamic duo will perform George Gershwin and Duke Ellington songs in a collaboration forged after working together for a homeless charity.

Snow, a former chorister at Winchester Cathedral’s Choir School, is struggling with his priorities.

“Trying to rehearse my songs, report and fly back in time for my London Jazz Festival gig,” he tweets.
