Family business for David Cameron’s coiffeur

Pledge: David Cameron hopes scrapping the rules could save up to £850m

Lino Carbosiero, the hairdresser to David Cameron who came to the country’s attention after the Londoner revealed that he is to receive an MBE, is excited for his big day on February 12.

Last week artist Grayson Perry showed up at the palace to collect his CBE in a trademark dress but Carbosiero won’t be taking any fashion risks. “I’m going with a traditional morning suit. I think it’s important to be appropriate,” he said.

The hairdresser is a huge fan of the monarchy and is eager to mix with royalty. “I have been lucky to work with amazing people in amazing places, but this time it’s a family occasion. They see what you have to do to reach this level in the business, they see the sacrifices. To get the chance to have them there and have that family photograph at the palace, that’s what I’m looking forward to.”

What a nice chap he is.
