Earl of Drogheda is bowled over by the handsome Duke

For his new book, An English Room, Derry Moore photographed Benedict Cumberbatch in the Garrick Club library, Felicity Kendal at the Gielgud Theatre and Jasper Conran at Wardour Castle — but the 12th Earl of Drogheda’s favourite portrait is of the Duke of Beaufort’s hall at Badminton House in Gloucestershire. “He’s a very handsome man and he looks every inch the Duke,” said Moore last night at the launch of his book at Quintessentially HQ in Marylebone. “Not all the aristocracy look the part — which is a pity.”
