Top marks for consistency at Guido Fawkes. When not exposing the mishaps and misbehaviour of parliamentarians the muckrakers are busy exposing… each other.

Yesterday Paul Staines (who set up the site) repeatedly tweeted deputy editor Harry Cole demanding to know why he hadn’t shown up for work. A sample: “Has occurred to me @MrHarryCole could be lying in a hospital somewhere. However, it is a Monday morning, explanation likely more mundane.” He later highlighted the fact that Cole’s last tweet before disappearing had been one word: “vodka”.

But Staines’s deputy wasn’t in the mood for being publicly shamed. “What are you talking about? The fact I am back tomorrow has been in the diary for a month,” he tweeted, before implying that his boss may have forgotten because he’d told him “after lunch”.
