A grand reconciliation for Cressida Bonas and Guy Pelly? Bonas’s break-up with Prince Harry was blamed in part on her apparent discomfort at attending the Memphis wedding of club king Pelly to Lizzy Wilson.Bonas and Pelly were also reported to have had a “heated exchange” in June at his club, Tonteria.
But last night, as Bonas made her London stage debut in There’s a Monster in the Lake at Islington’s Rosemary Branch theatre, who should The Londoner spot but Pelly and Wilson in the audience and then chatting to Cressie in the pub downstairs. The play follows two women pursuing their aging father as he retreats into a fantasy world. Bonas plays an emasculated Wolf in the production, which transferred from a run at the Hay Festival. The impressive cast includes Florence Keith-Roach and Zoe Stevens. And Bonas’s performance? The Londoner thought she had great comic timing.
