A source told the Londoner that former News International chief executive Rebekah Brooks and her husband Charlie were seen recuperating from a recent court appearance with a visit to San Tropez’s Club 55 this weekend.
The Brooks are regulars in the area, having holidayed in the French home of fellow power couple the Oppenheim Turners, but Stephen Hester, who steps down as RBS head this year, was also sighted at the venue. Is he seeking new friends with whom to while away empty days?
