The British Library today announced that it has acquired the diaries, drafts and manuscripts of writer Hanif Kureishi, with the documents spanning 40 years of his life.
A much-needed boost to the My Beautiful Laundrette author’s bank account? In 2012 Kureishi suffered a serious setback when he lost £120,000 in a property scam he had been advised to invest in.
