Style guru Peter York gave his blessing to the National Trust’s newest property, the Big Brother House, at its opening last night, where guests included models Sophie Anderton and Nicola McLean.
York said he was a fan of the show, dubbing it “Knowbrow: not highbrow, not lowbrow, not middlebrow, just very knowing.”
But the BB fraternity don’t necessarily return the heritage crowd’s love. Series eight winner Brian Belo tells me he’s never visited a National Trust property. “They’re like Downton Abbey, right?” he asked.
