Zoo animals at Chessington World of Adventures pose for 'selfies'

Zoo animals are getting in on the selfie trend by getting up close to the camera.

Chessington World of Adventures Resort have released a series of ‘zelfies’ which include penguins, sealions and bearcats mimicking a selfie.

The images are mainly taken by zoo keepers and have been released to celebrate the annual Chessington Conservation Fund evening.

One photograph shows a sealion flicking out his tongue, while another shows a cheeky bearcat grinning at the camera.

Linda Berggren, supervisor of Animal Training at Chessington World of Adventures Resort, said: "We've noticed our animals love posing for pictures."
