Woodford Green crash: Four injured in collision between coach and bus in north-east London

Four people were injured in a crash involving a coach and a bus in a north-east London suburb.

Sixteen passengers were checked over by paramedics and four patients taken to hospital with minor injuries following the collision in Woodford Green at about 5.40pm on Tuesday.

The front of the coach was wrecked in the Broadmead Road incident, with the windscreen shattered and metal panels hanging off.

The back of the 275 bus was also damaged.

Police, firefighters and ambulance workers were all sent to the scene.

Roads have since reopened, Scotland Yard said.
