Warren Street: Man dies after being hit by Northern line train at busy station

A man has died after being hit by a Northern line train at Warren Street station.

Emergency services rushed to the busy central London station just after 1pm on Sunday.

The man, whose age is not currently known, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The station was closed and Central line suspended between Camden Town and Oval via Charing Cross while emergency services dealt with the incident.

A spokeswoman for British Transport Police (BTP) said: “The incident is being investigated but is not being treated as suspicious.

“Officers are conducting enquiries to identify and advise next of kin.”
