London Victoria station closed: TfL Tube delays as services suspended after casualty on tracks

Hundreds of commuters were evacuated from Victoria station this morning due to a casualty on the tracks.

People travelling on the Victoria line faced severe delays as emergency services rushed to the station at around 7.10am.

The line was suspended at rush hour between Warren Street and Brixton and there were severe delays on the rest of the line.

Transport for London said the station remained closed at 8am.

The status of the victim has not yet been confirmed, nor has the precise location of the incident.

Tickets are currently being accepted on Southeastern, South Western Railway, Great Northern and Overground train services.
