Ukip's first MP Douglas Carswell was again caught out in a Twitter gaffe where he appeared to ask his followers to play a children's game with him.
The Clacton-on-Sea MP - who quit the Tories last year for Ukip, forcing a by-election - sent a message to his followers encouraging them to join him in a game of Hello Kitty World.

Later he provided an explanation for the unusual post, tweeting "oooops! That's the last time I leave the five year old in charge of the iPad (but it is a great game!)".
The same thing happened to him last February.
