That dress looks good enough to eat - and blow me, it is

Chocolate-makers Lindt have put 50kg of their chocolate to unusual use - by making a dress out of it.

The dress was designed by 23-year-old Lauren Smith, winner of this year's Graduate Fashion Week Gold Award. It was made by Lindt's master chocolatier Stefan Bruderer, along with food artist Paul Wayne Gregory.

Quite understandably, it took two weeks to make and will be officially unveiled at Salon du Chocolat's fashion show as part of the National Chocolate Week closing celebrations on Friday.

"Working together, we have created something truly bespoke... in a creative and exciting way," said Bruderer, modestly. "Fashion never looked so tasty!"

Hear, hear to that. One can only wonder how they managed not to eat it all up as they went along.
