Commuters are facing rush-hour delays after the District line was suspended.

No service was running between Turnham Green and Richmond on either the District line or Overground at 7am on Tuesday due to a signal failure at Kew Gardens.

Service has now resumed on both lines, but there were severe delays on the District line just before 9am.

The Circle line was also hit with severe delays at rush hour after engineering works finished late in the Edgware Road area.

Commuters on the Jubilee line were faced with minor delays after mechanical issues were identified "on a number of trains", TfL said.

And the Hammersmith and City line similarly had minor delays after a signal failure in Hammersmith.

Services on the Circle, Hammersmith and City and Jubilee lines has now resumed.
