An 18-year-old man is in hospital after being stabbed in Haggerston.

Officers were called to Crabtree Close just after 9.30pm to reports of a stabbing.

Officers and London Ambulance Service attended and found an 18-year-old man suffering stab injuries. He was taken to hospital where he remains in a critical, but stable, condition.

His next of kin have been informed.

No arrests have been made and enquiries into the circumstances are ongoing.
