The family of a bullied schoolgirl today spoke publicly for the first time since her death, describing her as “fun, loving and beautiful”.

Sinead Taylor, 15, from Kidbrooke, south-east London, revealed in a YouTube video diary that she had considered suicide.

She was found dead last Friday. Police said her death was not suspicious.

Her tearful mother, Carrie Sangar, told ITV News how Sinead was “very independent”.

“As soon as she could walk she wanted to do things for herself. She was very independent, very spoiled.

“She was the only child and grandchild for a long time so she was a very spoiled child. Very charming and persuasive. She would do anything for you.”

In a video diary posted online two months ago, the aspiring dancer spoke of her battle with bullies.

“There was some boy who didn’t like me because I used to hang around with the boys,” she said.

“He always used to put me down. I can’t even remember what he said, but he just made me feel so awful that I just wanted to go home and cry – and back then I never used to cry.”

She added that people called “lebnian or bisexual” and said she had resorted to self-harming.
