A Polish Prince from west London has issued a challenge to Nigel Farage to take him on in a duel with swords in Hyde Park.
Aristocrat Janek Żyliński, who is the son of Captain Andrzej Żyliński, a military officer who led a victorious charge against the Nazis as they invaded Poland in 1939, issued the challenge on YouTube.
Mr Żyliński, who lives in Ealing, says he has "had enough" of the discrimination he claims Polish people face in the UK.
He cites Ukip leader Mr Farage blaming immigration for causing traffic jams on motorways.
"I’ve had enough of the discrimination against Polish people in this country," Mr Żyliński says.
He then picks up a large sword and challenges Mr Farage to an 18th Century-style duel.
"Enough is enough, Mr Farage," he says. "So what I’d like to do is to challenge you to a duel. I’d like us to meet in Hyde Park one morning, with our swords, and resolve this matter.”
And in case Mr Farage is not be tempted to the standoff, Mr Żyliński adds: "If his sword is a little rusty, we could meet in a studio for a duel of words in the run up to the election."
Ukip declined to comment when asked if Mr Farage would accept the challenge.
Mr Żyliński previously hit headlines after unveiling a 30 foot statue to honour his father in the Polish town Kaluszyn, around an hour from the scene of the charge in Warsaw.
Captain Żyliński is said to have led a squadron of 88 horsemen at the age of 29, wiping out the German 44th Infantry Regiment in a clash which saved 6,000 Jews by liberating the town of Kaluszyn.
