More than 1,800 homes and a college could be built across Dollis Hill and Wembley, subject to planning permission.

Housebuilder the Hill Group and developer Pinnacle Investments are to approach Brent Council with the plans for the “much needed” investment after agreeing terms with United Colleges Group.

There are plans for 1,500 homes off Dudden Hill Lane and around 300 off Wembley Park Drive. Brent Council will receive them in the early part of 2023 - when they will go on public display in a consultation period.

Meanwhile, United Colleges Group could build an educational campus on Olympic Way, close to Wembley Park station, for the teaching primarily of vocational courses and green skills.

Wembley councillor Ketan Sheth has backed the proposal and said the facilities show why Brent has become the “borough of choice,” for many to move to for opportunities.

“The new development of a world class educational facility for the residents of Brent is a welcome addition,” he said.

“The new college will provide much needed skills and training for Brent with an emphasis on emerging green technologies.”

Andy Hill, chief executive of the Hill Group, added: “Being the lead developer on over 1,800 much needed homes in this important area of London is a testament to our track record and reputation for placemaking and regeneration.”
