A london nightspot visited by Madonna, Jade Jagger and Robbie Williams has won back its late licence after a campaign by its owner.
Supperclub in Notting Hill will be open until 2am during weekdays and 3am at weekends after a licensing committee ruled it had done enough to appease residents.
The venue was ordered to stop playing music and selling alcohol at midnight in late 2011 when nearby home owners claimed drunken clubbers were ruining their lives.
Mark Cutler, who runs the club, said he has since worked with Kensington and Chelsea council, the community and police to deal with concerns. He said extra staff would be hired to manage crowds and tackle disturbances.
Mr Cutler added: “By proving ourselves to residents and the council and ensuring we have a well-run venue at every level, we have achieved our goal.”
