Motorcyclist rushed to hospital after crash on Kilburn High Street

A motorcylist has been rushed to hospital after colliding with a car on Kilburn High Road.

Police officers and the London Ambulance Service were called to the scene at 9.04am to reports of a collision involving a car and moped.

A Met Police spokesperson said: “The rider has been taken to a central London hospital; we await an update on his condition.

“Road closures are currently in place.”

A London Ambulance Service spokesperson said that a number of resources had been sent to hte scene including an ambulance crew, incident response officer and a medic in a fast response car.”

A man was treated at the scene and taken to a major trauma centre as a priority.

Footage of the scene showed a large cordon in place.
