Vegas-style “quickie” weddings have come to London with a pop-up version of that city’s Little White Chapel in Shoreditch.

The chapel comes with the same Elvis who serenaded Britney Spears when she married her childhood friend Jason Allen Alexander in 2004.

The chance for a spontaneous declaration of love — the weddings are not legally binding — has already proved a hit.

Mylin Pantaleon, 30, and Don Richard, 29, “popped out for a takeaway after work and ended up married”.

Ms Pantaleon said: “We are engaged and in love, so there was nothing really stopping us.”

The wedding chapel has been installed by mobile technology company YPlan to mark the launch of a new “tonight’s going out” app.

The chapel will run from 6pm - 11pm from 5th - 9th December at Boxpark in Shoreditch
