A Londoner enjoys the sunshine in Green Park as the capital basks in unseasonably high temperatures of up to 19C.
The warm weather also brought blossom and birdlife to the fore in St James’s Park.
The Met Office says it will be “mild and very warm” until Thursday, with top temperatures of 22C, but that the mercury will plummet to 11C on Friday. The average for London in April is about 14C.
