The capital has the best bosses in the country, says a new survey.

Sixty-three per cent of Londoners describe their bosses as “well behaved” and 55 per cent have never had a problem with their manager.

In comparison, just over a quarter of employees in the south-west of the country rate their bosses as decent.

Just eight per cent of Londoners said their managers were “despicable” and eight per cent admitted pulling “sickies” because of bad bosses.

Asked which celebrity bosses their managers were like, Londoners chose Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson and Margaret Thatcher, said the survey by management consultancy Inspiring Business Performance.
