These stunning photographs show London's most iconic sites during the Autumn months as the cold sets in.

Evening Standard photographer Jeremy Selwyn snapped the incredible pictures as he roamed the city's streets looking for interesting scenes.

Among the beautiful images is a shot of a burnt orange sunset over the River Thames, illuminating Tower Bridge and HMS Belfast.

Another scene shows hardy joggers running through Hyde Park as temperatures began to plummet ahead of winter.

Other sites include commuters bracing themselves in the foggy conditions as they walk over London Bridge and a lone walker enduring similarly hazardous conditions on Primrose Hill.

Londoners have battled through a sometimes chilly autumn, with a "polar plume" causing temperatures to drop to 0C in September.

Torrential rain and high winds hit the capital in October, while November saw more weather warnings as Storm Barney swept through the UK.
