A second man has been arrested on suspicion of murdering a teenager who was stabbed to death in Lambeth.

Keane Flynn-Harling, 16, was fatally stabbed in Oval Place, south London, at around 11.45pm on July 5.

Met Police confirmed a 37-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of his murder on Monday and remains in custody.

It comes after a 29-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of murder on July 8 and released on bail to a date in August.

Keane was pronounced dead at the scene despite efforts from officers and paramedics.

His family are being supported by specially trained officers.

Detectives from the Met’s Specialist Crime Command are leading the investigation and continue to appeal for witnesses.

DCI Dan O’Sullivan previously assured officers were working around the clock pursuing an number of leads.

He described the stabbing as a “sad and needless loss of another young life on the streets of London.”
