Horror as man in 20s is stabbed during fight in Harrods

A man in his 20s has been rushed to hospital after being stabbed inside Harrods.

Metropolitan Police were called following an altercation at the store on Brompton Road in Knightsbridge just after 7.30pm on Saturday.

No arrests have been made, police said. The man was taken to hospital with ‘stab/slash injuries’, but his condition was not life-threatening.

A police spokesperson said: “We were called at 7.33pm to a fight inside the Harrods store in Brompton Road, SW1. A man in his 20s was taken to hospital with stab/slash injuries.

“His condition has been assessed as not life-threatening or life-changing. No arrest yet; enquiries continue. Cordons are in place.”

Social media posts claimed there had been an argument about a watch in the Louis Vuitton section of the Brompton Road store, but this has not been confirmed.

The area was cordoned and police called for witnesses. The police Central West CID is investigating.
