A customer was bitten by a fox as he tried to catch it in his local Tesco.

Lee Cooper, 37, grabbed the animal as it leapt around an Express store in Woodford Green.

He managed to restrain it and take it outside but it bit him.

Mr Cooper said: “I put my foot on it to put it down and some girl asked what I was doing. I told her it’s not a dog, it’s more like a rat.”
