The red carpet was rolled out today for the first iPad film premiere onboard the top deck of a double decker Routemaster bus.

The small budget film The Silver Goat, directed by American film director Aaron Brookner, was shot with a Canon 5D camera in 11 days.

The film stars Alexa Brown, Tom Colley and Amy Dolan and is shot in black and white.

The bus drove around the locations in which the film was set. These included Chelsea, Notting Hill, King's Cross and Islington. The cast and crew each had an iPad to watch the premiere.

It is the first film released exclusively for the iPad platform and can be downloaded from the Apple App store here.
