First picture: elderly woman killed after being hit by a lorry in Earls Court

Police are making a renewed appeal for information after a 75-year-old woman was killed by a lorry in west London.

Laila Thobani was hit in Earls Court Road outside the Tube station at about 3.30pm on February 3.

Paramedics from the London Ambulance Service and London's Air Ambulance battled for 30 minutes to save her life but she died at the scene.

A post-mortem examination gave the cause of her death as multiple injuries, Scotland Yard said.

The driver of the lorry stopped at the scene and no arrests have been made.

Detectives are keen to speak with anyone who witnessed the collision.
